We are blessed by being relatively close – ranging from a 20 min to a 60 min drive - to four excellent ski stations in France and one in Spain – that is the 60 minute one.

Superbagneres - 1440m-2260m

About a 20 minute drive to the town of Bagneres de Luchon from which you then take the telecabine up to the resort. Currently it has 15 lifts and 28 runs - 4 green, 11 blue, 7 red and 6 black. It has 160 snow cannons. There is also 4km of cross country ski-ing , a snow park, a luge area and, most importantly, cafes and restaurants.

There is an ESF ski school and a ski crèche 3+ years

Le Mourtis - 1420m-1860m

About a 25 minute drive to this family friendly resort. It has 12 runs including 8 green, 5 blue, 5 red and 2 black. There is also raquette walking, husky dog sledge rides, luge area and cafes and restaurants,ESF and ESI ski school. The Creche takes children from 18 months

Peyragudes - 1600m-2400m

About a 40 minute drive from here over the beautiful Col De Perysourde. It has 16 lifts and 46 runs including 5 green, 20 blue, 17 red and 4 black. 230 snow cannons There are 2 base areas Les Agudes and Perygudes where you find a snowpark as well as many cafes  There is an ESF ski school, a garderie from 18month -2 years and a Ski Creche from aged 2-5 years

Bourg d’Oueil

This is about a 35 minute drive and is a station that is particularly appreciated by the beginner skier who appreciates looking around at the gorgeous valley and trees as they ski!

Baquiera Beret Spain - 1500m-2510m – in the Val d'Aran

This is more like a 60 min run. Many say it is worth the extra drive. It has 33 lifts and 69 runs including 5 green, 33 blue, 25 red and 6 black. There are some 549 snow cannons. There is also a British ski school, and an EEE. This is a very modern resort with lots of cafes and even a Moet Champagne bar. There is a snow park, a luge area and heli-skiing. Daycare provision for children from 3 months – 3 years. Ski crèche with a choice of 3 parks.
